Dr. Landy completed his undergraduate work at the University of South Carolina and graduated from the University of Tennessee Medical School. He completed his neurology residency at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.

He most recently left Mississippi where he was the director of the Tupelo Headache Clinic while concomitantly a Clinical Professor of Neurology at the University of Tennessee Medical School.

Dr. Landy returned to Nashville where he currently serves veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center as a Headache Specialist.

Dr. Landy is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in the specialty of neurology and The United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties for headache medicine. He holds memberships in the American Academy of Neurology, National Headache Foundation, International Headache Society, American Headache Society, among others and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and American Headache Society.

Dr. Landy has written numerous headache-related abstracts, manuscripts, book chapters and a patient-oriented book entitled The Migraine Enigma. He has participated extensively in migraine related research and educational initiatives.

He was sought out as SAAC’s first medical doctor for his quality of care, immense wealth of knowledge of neurological medicine, and compassion for patients as people.
